Frequently Asked Questions

 

+ What happens if I need more time?

If you need more time than expected in a month for any reason, I'll will let you know when we reach the original time cap. You'll be charged at the agreed price level for the hours worked in that month. If you want to do a larger project in the next month or continue at the higher number of hours, I'll move you to the next package up. For example - if you originally needed 5 hours a month and then 1 month realise you'd like 10 hours of work, that month will be at the Basic Package price, but the next month you would have the option to move to the Standard Package price (and service level).

+ How long will this take?

A full website build will likely take roughly 40 hours over the course of several weeks. A sales funnel build can take anywhere from 5 hours to almost the same as a website depending on how complicated it is and how many design changes you want to make. For all other projects, it really depends on your needs and the state of your current systems.

+ What happens after I book?

After our call, I'll send you a link to accept my terms and conditions and you will need to send through any logins required to start working on your project. I'll let you know what those will be on our call and by email afterwards. I'll also set up an Asana workspace, add the project tasks we talked about and add you as a collaborator.

+ Do you use affiliate links when recommending software?

Occasionally, I'll need to recommend software to get your project completed. If that's the case, I'll always provide at least three options including free ones if possible and appropriate for your needs. If I have an affiliate link for any of the options, I will let you know upfront and it won't be my first recommendation unless it really is the best option. The choice will always be yours though.

+ Are there any ongoing costs after the project?

You will remain responsible for any software costs relating to the project both during and after it is completed, that may include Squarespace or ActiveCampaign or any of the other software we work with.
